Stu Trevena, the founder of Leaders By Design, grew up in West Cornwall, really quite far from anything resembling corporate life. After moving to the North East of England, he found himself working for a FTSE100 company, really through chance more than planning. He didn't know it, but that was the start of his leadership development journey, having spent well over a decade now working with leaders in multiple countries and sectors.

After spending time with literally thousands of people, he has seen the need to change the way that we give leaders the required capability to do their roles in ever-changing and complex environments. Time and time again, designing and building development programmes, he would come back to the same realisation that even with the best, well-researched and publicised leadership theory, without leaders understanding who they truly are, there was limited success.

Leaders By Design was created by Stu to offer true leader growth experiences that really make a difference. We are passionate believers that exceptional leadership already exists within us. We are on a mission to release the true and untapped potential that is not uncovered through conventional leadership development programmes.
